Brazilian Bikini

The Brazilian bikini first became popular in South America, where it gets its name, but it quickly caught on around the rest of the world.  This style has become the standard image many people see when someone says bikini.  Its place on beaches around the world, year after year, goes to show how hot this one really is among its fellow swimsuits.  For a style that will endure, the Brazilian is the hands-down favorite to stand the test of time.

What sets a Brazilian bikini apart from other bikinis is the cut of the bottom piece.  The low front and high sides lead around to the real star of the show which is the backside.  The back of the bottom falls somewhere between a g-string and a full coverage cut.  With the outer edges trimmed down by a half to a third, depending on the designer, this revealing cut exposes the bottom portion of the cheeks while providing moderate coverage in the top center.  It is a perfect style for showing off your curves and working on your tan at the same time.

We’ve covered the bottom but what about the top, you ask?  There are quite a few different styles that would nicely complete a Brazilian bikini.  The classic triangle cut is a popular selection, as is a bandeau style top.  The triangle cut will give you a little more support up top, if you need it, while the bandeau style gives the bikini a sleek and sexy appearance.  There are other choices out there that would work, too, like a sweetheart style top which is an easy top to dress up a little.  By adding a nice piece of trim in the center of a sweetheart top, a bikini can instantly take on a whole new feeling.  Whatever your select, the Brazilian bikini is one you can count on to be in fashion for a long time.
